BETT 2022: Edupreneurs to watch

For KEVRI, our first time exhibiting at BETT London felt like a 3-day whirlwind of networking, pitching, and showcasing our new Knowledge Exchange software.

While enjoying the buzz of BETT, we were also on the hunt for 'Edupreneurs', otherwise known as individuals who use their entrepreneurial skills to connect education to industry.

As such, we have compiled the following 'Edupreneurs to Watch' list to showcase our fellow attendees and exhibitors who are making incredible progress within the global education sector:

With their innovative game Drama Studio, the Ugly Duckling Games team has created a 3D experience that makes drama and theatre more accessible and relevant for school students.

OurStory Education Ltd. is an EdTech platform that seeks to make diverse and inclusive classroom resources easily accessible to educators.

Edupreneur: Simon Katan

Handl is a social learning app that helps instructors create interactive social learning activities that direct learners as they work together in small groups.

VREvo

Edupreneur: Jeremy Carter

In partnership with the University of Manchester, VREvo is a new company creating biomedical virtual (VR) and augmented (AR) reality content to enhance higher education in universities.

Thinkably is a digital library that helps to reduce children’s anxiety. This company helps children to understand their world through stories made to inspire, educate and empower young minds on important topics.

Beyond Blocks runs creative sessions and clubs using LEGO to inspire pupils to learn programming, engineering and design.

Teeneagle

Teeneagle is an international English speaking competition for teenagers. Winners get a chance to visit London and visit Brunel University in the UK.

With so many more incredible ventures out there, it was great for us all to meet all these fellow edupreneurs in the field.
