And as we move further into the new year, there are many events to look forward to in the KE sector!

PraxisAuril Annual Conference 2023

The annual PraxisAuril conference is back this June in the historic city of Nottingham, and it’s already brimming with a programme full of exciting plenaries and speaker sessions.

Those who have attended a PraxisAuril conferences in the past will be well attuned to how engaging and valuable they are.

#PrAConf23 gives us the opportunity to see and hear from many of the key movers and shakers within KE including the Executive Director of Research England Dame Professor Jane Corner. ASTP Annual Conference 2023

📅 When and where: Tallinn, Estonia. 24-26 May 2023

Europe’s premier association of knowledge transfer professions ASTP has over two decades of experience in educating, connecting, and advocating for the profession. So when you hear its annual conference is around the corner, it’s sure to pique your interest!

This three-day event will take place in the vibrant capital of Estonia- a city which recently acquired the status of European Green Capital!

The conference will be one of the knowledge transfer community’s largest European meetings, with up to 400 professionals and industry leaders from across the globe joining together at the Hilton Tallinn Park.

Across the three days, attendees can get stuck into a fantastic variety of speaking events, masterclasses and workshops including “How to say no to Researchers and Industry” and “The Knowledge Stock Exchange”, which invites KTOs, partners and businesses to share their latest projects and ideas with the community.

The Power of Collaborative Action: Leading the Future of Cultural Knowledge Exchange

The National Centre for Academic and Cultural Exchange (NCACE) has announced its annual workshop, "The Power of Collaborative Action: Leading the Future of Cultural Knowledge Exchange."

Funded by Research England, NCACE promotes and support the exchange of knowledge between the higher education and arts and cultural sectors, with a particular emphasis on demonstrating the social, cultural, environmental, and economic benefits of such activities.

This annual workshop will focus on the leadership of Cultural Knowledge Exchange, exploring various leadership approaches and models that encourage collaboration and knowledge exchange between these two sectors.

Key experts, practitioners, and policymakers will reflect on the complexity involved in leading impactful and collaborative work, the benefits and challenges of co-curated leadership, and the importance of recognising and supporting diverse leadership potential and practice.

BBSRC: Sparking Innovation Conference

Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), part of UKRI, is the largest UK public funder of non-medical bioscience. It predominantly funds scientific research institutes and university research departments in the UK.

BBSRC’s first ‘Sparking Innovation Conference’ will take place on Thursday 2nd March in the City of Bristol. The aim of the event is to bring together bioscience innovators, entrepreneurs, TTOs and investors for a face-to-face networking and knowledge exchange opportunity.

The event will be centred around four panel discussions with experts. This includes:

  • Panel 1: Developing your bioscience technology with commercial potential
  • Panel 2: Finding product-market fit, understanding the end user, and identifying the value proposition of your bioscience innovation
  • Panel 3: Building your bioscience start-up and accelerating its growth
  • Panel 4: Seeking investment for your bioscience start-up

The Knowledge Exchange Framework Conference 2023
